Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is effective in the treatment of anxiety, depression, panic, obsessive compulsive disorder, insomnia and eating disorders. I help clients to overcome or manage these conditions. My specialist areas of interest are anxiety, stress and low self-worth often brought on by the pressures and influences of modern life.
I work in a collaborative and non-judgmental way offering my clients the space to talk to me in confidence about their problems.
What to expect from CBT
I work with my clients to uncover their unhealthy thinking styles and behaviours and to identify how this might be impacting on their life and to help them effect change. By changing unhealthy thinking styles and behaviours clients can start to manage their problems and maintain emotional stability in the face of challenges that had once been trigger points for unhelpful behaviours.
